How it works
A defined process, with no surprises.
From first conversation to final report, you know what will happen, what access is needed and when it ends.
Initial discussion
A short conversation about your onboarding environment, the customer types you handle and what prompted your interest. Nothing is commissioned at this stage.Scope confirmation
We agree the sample, the policies, procedures and KYC/AML standards to review against, and the fee, in writing. The introductory scope is 10 standard-complexity files.Client-hosted access
You grant restricted access, read-only where appropriate, inside your own systems. Underlying customer documents are not copied out unless there is a clear need and you agree.Review
Each file is assessed across the six areas: identity and entity verification, ownership and control, risk assessment, screening, enhanced due diligence and decision rationale. Observations are recorded against your procedures and graded by significance.Reporting
You receive a concise written report with case-level findings, recurring themes, prioritised issues and practical recommendations. Material findings can be discussed.Completion
Access is revoked when the engagement is complete, and we confirm that with you.
Handling your information
Veridium's preferred model keeps customer information within your environment.
- Information stays in your own environment where practical.
- Access is restricted to what the agreed review needs.
- Read-only access is used where appropriate.
- Unnecessary copying of customer documentation is avoided.
- Access is revoked on completion.
What the review is, and is not
It is an independent quality assurance review of how your onboarding controls have been applied in a sample of files.
It is not legal advice, regulatory certification or a formal audit opinion, and it does not guarantee regulatory compliance. Findings describe the sample reviewed.
Before you commit
The first conversation is there to check fit. If the standard assessment is not right for your situation, we will say so and discuss what would be.
